Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has paid floral tributes to Telangana martyrs memorial at Gun Park near Assembly on the occasion of sixth State Formation Day here on Tuesday. The Chief Minister arrived at the decked up Gun Park at 8.30 am. He was accompanied by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar. 

After placing the wreath, the Chief Minister paid tributes to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for Statehood. He observed few minutes of silence. Several TRS leaders, Mayor



Bonthu Rammmohan also paid floral tributes at the Gun Park.

The celebrations this year will be on low key this year due to corona induced lockdown. The Chief Minister has designated ministers and other dignitaries to hoist flags at their allotted district headquarters in a simple ceremony. The Chief Minister will hoist the national flag at Pragathi Bhavan. Telangana was officially formed on June 2, 2014 after bifurcation of AP.
