Cloudy and overcast conditions have continued to prevail in Hyderabad, with weather authorities forecasting chances of heavy rains during the later half of the day.
A similar weather pattern, of considerable drop in maximum temperatures due to overcast conditions with heavy rain and thunderstorms is prevalent across districts in Telangana State.
For the next three to four days, a heavy rainfall alert along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across multiple districts has been issued by the Hyderabad MET department.
The maximum temperatures are
likely to drop below normal by 3 degree Celsius to 5 degree Celsius in parts of the State, Hyderabad MET department in its forecast on Tuesday, said, adding that heavy rainfall is likely in many districts.
The maximum day time temperatures are expected to remain between 32 degree Celsius and 34 degree Celsius across Hyderabad.
At all the six zones in Hyderabad, including Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad and Serilingampally will experience “generally cloudy sky.” There will be light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph).
