Telangana Gov Calls for Collective Participation 'Viksit Bharat'

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Saturday called upon every citizen to contribute to the building of a developed and self-reliant India, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices, courage and patriotism of the freedom fighters. 

The Governor was speaking after unfurling the national flag at the 80th Independence Day celebrations held at Lok Bhavan here. He also received the ceremonial salute from the police



personnel.

The Governor’s spouse Janaki Shukla, Special Chief Secretary to the Governor M. Dana Kishore, Joint Secretary K. Shashikiranachary, and officers and employees of Lok Bhavan participated in the celebrations. Extending his greetings to the people of Telangana and the nation on the occasion, Shukla recalled the immense sacrifices made by freedom fighters and national leaders in securing India’s independence.
