Civil Supplies seize 38 domestic LPG cylinders in Balanagar raids

The Civil Supplies authorities conducted raids at various commercial outlets in Balanagar and seized domestic LPG gas cylinders on Tuesday.

Acting on information about diversion of domestic LPG cylinders to commercial market, the Assistant Supply Officer Balanagar, G Kalyan, conducted



raids at multiple places at Chintal, Shahpurnagar, Suraram, Gajulararam and other places.

The officials checked the tiffin centres, roadside eateries and fast food corners, and found the management was using domestic gas for commercial cooking purposes. A total of 38 LPG cylinders were seized.
