Megastar Chiranjeevi has urged people to celebrate the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival with ‘Seed Ganesha’, the popular eco-friendly Ganesha idols made up of clay with embedded seeds that eventually grow into a plant.

Clay idols with Seed Ganesha will protect nature and also help to grow saplings in our courtyard after the idol immersion at home, he said, while unveiling Green India



Challenge’s (GIC) Seed Ganesha idols at his residence on Sunday in the presence of Founder of GIC and former MP, J Santosh Kumar.

Describing Green India Challenge as a ‘Yagna’, Chiranjeevi appreciated the initiative for inspiring lakhs of people to plant 20 crore saplings. Pledging his full support for the cause, the star actor said that Santosh Kumar’s efforts to promote the concept must be admired.
