Chinese manja slits throat of minor girl at Kukatpally, death

A five-year-old girl lost her life after the sharp Chinese manja slit her throat while she was travelling on a two-wheeler with her parents in Kukatpally on Monday evening.

The incident occurred on the Kukatpally National Highway near Metro Pillar No. 781 at Sumitra Nagar. The child, Nishvika Aditya (5), was seated in front of her father on a motorcycle when the Chinese manjha suddenly got entangled around her neck,



causing severe injuries.

Hearing the child’s screams, her father immediately stopped the vehicle and found her bleeding profusely.

The parents rushed Nishvika Aditya to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors declared that she succumbed to her injuries during treatment. Medical professionals said the girl had suffered heavy blood loss and a deep cut measuring nearly two-and-a-half inches on her neck.
