Centre gives nod for AIIMS in Telangana

Paving the way for seting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Telangana, the Centre on Friday granted an in-principle approval. The 200-acre AIIMS campus will come up at Bibinagar on the city outskirts and soon a team



from the Centre will be inspecting the site. Apart from AIIMS, two new medical colleges, one in Mahabubnagar and the other in Siddipet were also approved by the Union government.
