A case is booked at Mangalhat police station against BJP MLA T Raja Singh for allegedly threatening voters of Uttar Pradesh recently. It was booked following the directions of Election Commission of India.

The BJP legislator who represents the Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad had in a video said that the BJP will come to power again in Uttar Pradesh. “All those who do not vote for BJP, there houses will



be demolished using JCBs by the government of Yogi Adityanath,” he reportedly said.

The ECI had issued notice to the legislator and sought a reply from him. On Saturday it asked the police to register a case.

“On orders of the ECI, a case under various Sections of Indian Penal Code and Representation of People’s Act is booked. Investigation is going on,” said DCP (west) Joel Davis.
