The orthopedic and robotic surgeons at Care Hospitals, Hitec City, announced completion of 250 robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement surgeries using Mako Robotic-Assisted System.
Doctors in a statement said the Mako Robotic-Assisted System enables CT-based, patient-specific surgical planning and provides real-time robotic guidance during surgery, allowing them to achieve better accuracy in
implant positioning while preserving healthy bone and surrounding soft tissues.
Dr G Ashok Raju, Clinical Director (Orthopaedics), Care Hospitals, Hitec City, said, “By personalising each procedure to the patient’s anatomy, we are able to combine surgical expertise with technology-driven precision, achieve predictable outcomes, reduce variability, and support faster functional recovery.”
