Car crashes into tree in Adilabad; 2 killed

Adilabad: Two persons were killed on the spot, while three others belonging to a family sustained injuries when the car in which they were travelling hit a tree near Birsaipet village in Utnoor mandal early on Monday.

Police said the victims were relatives of Earla Raju from Riksha colony in Bellampalli. The deceased included a man and a woman while one woman, a girl and another person



were injured. The driver lost control over the vehicle at a curve and hit the tree, resulting in the mishap.

The injured persons were shifted to a government hospital in Utnoor mandal headquarters. The condition of the girl was said to be critical. The family was heading from Bellampalli to Adilabad at the time of the incident.
