A businessman from Medak died in a road accident at Kulcharam on the Medak–Hyderabad road in the early hours of Wednesday.

The trader, Vanaparthi Rohit Gupta (50), was on his way back to Medak from Vijayawada when he lost control of the steering

wheel.

The car veered off the road and turned turtle, killing Rohit on the spot. He had reportedly visited the Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada to offer prayers to the presiding deity.
