Burglars Loot 20 tolas gold, Cash Rs 2 Lakh In Shamirpet

A major burglary has been reported from Bommarasipet village in Shamirpet on the suburb on Friday.

Unidentified burglars allegedly broke into the residence of Nageswara Rao by forcefully opening the door locks when the family was away.

According to the complaint, the miscreants made away wiath



nearly 20 tolas of gold ornaments and cash amounting to Rs 2 lakh, causing significant financial loss to the family. The burglary came to light when the house owners returned and found the premises ransacked on Friday morning.

On receiving the complaint, Shamitpet police registered a case and took up investigation.
