Accusing the Congress government of sidelining the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme (PRLIS), the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) announced plans to undertake a padayatra in June to demand completion of the pending works.

The BRS government had taken up the PRLIS to curb migration from erstwhile Palamuru district. Accordingly, the majority of works have been completed, with

only 10 per cent pending, former Minister V Srinivas Goud said.

Addressing media persons here on Friday, he said the BRS leaders would take up a padayatra from Narlapur to Uddandapur reservoir and demand the Congress government complete the remaining works.

?The action plan will be announced after discussing with our president K Chandrashekhar Rao,? Goud said.
