BRS stages protest over irregularities 'Indiramma house allotments'

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) staged a protest in front of the Haliya police station on Monday charging irregularities and corruption in allocation of Indiramma Houses to the poor.

Led by former BRS MLA Nomula Bhagath, the party leaders staged a ‘rasta roko’ on the Kodad-Jadcherla National Highway. The protest brought traffic movement on the



Kodad-Jadcherla road to a standstill.

The BRS leaders alleged that Haliya Municipal Commissioner was indulging in corruption and irregularities in allocation of ‘Indiramma’ houses. 

They alleged that houses were being allotted to individuals, who already owned homes and genuine beneficiaries were being deprived houses.
