BRS slams State annd Centre govt for supporting Banakacherla project

BRS party leader KR Suresh Reddy lashed out at both the State and Centre governments for indirectly supporting the proposed Godavari-Banakacherla project by Andhra Pradesh. 

He accused the Congress-led Telangana government of remaining a mute spectator, while the BJP-led Centre backed Andhra Pradesh’s



Banakacherla project, threatening Telangana’s share of Godavari River waters.

Speaking to mediapersons in Delhi on Thursday, Suresh Reddy said under the guidance of the party chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the BRS MPs were raising voice in the Rajya Sabha against the injustice meted out to Telangana.
