BRS party workers protest, burnt effigy of CM Revanth in Banjara Hills

Mild tension prevailed near the Maharaj Agrasen statue close to Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills when several BRS party workers staged a protest and burnt an effigy of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday.

The protest against the government for allegedly



targeting the BRS party and its leaders and foisting cases led to a massive traffic jam in the surrounding areas.

The Banjara Hills police rushed to the spot, dispersed the protesters and brought the situation under control. Traffic movement was restored after a brief disruption.
