BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s suggestion that government employees should work an extra hour to improve State revenues and curb leakages. He said Telangana required better governance rather than longer working hours.
“It is high time you learn that clocks measure time, but vision measures impact,” he said, arguing that true leadership depends on administrative wisdom, sound policies and efficient execution, rather than extended office hours.
In a statement, Sravan
accused the Chief Minister of destroying the State and failing the Congress party due to corruption, lopsided priorities, illegal demolitions, police raj, negativity, feudal and abusive mindsets. He stated that immature governance has created confusion within the Cabinet and bureaucracy.
“Telangana does not need a stopwatch; it needs an honest vision, coherent policies and effective execution,” he said. He reminded that the Congress is left with just two years and it should either perform or get ready to perish.
