BRS MLAs stage walkout during Telangana Budget speech

Members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi staged a walkout from the Assembly on Friday during the Budget speech presented by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

They protested over unfulfilled promises of the Congress government and non-allocation of budget for their implementation in the latest budget.

flowers behind their ears shortly after the Deputy Chief Minister commenced his speech as a mark of protest and raised slogans during the speech. 

They shouted “fraud, fraud” while referring to the promise of providing one tola of gold, creation of two lakh jobs and other assurances made earlier. With the budget speech ignoring the pending promises, they staged a walkout.
