BRS MLA Jagadish demands Assembly presentation on river water issues

Former Minister and senior BRS MLA G Jagadish Reddy on Wednesday demanded that the ruling Congress allow the BRS to make a presentation in the Assembly on river water issues. He asserted that the party would expose the government’s lapses if given a fair opportunity.

Speaking to the media at his camp office in Suryapet, Jagadish Reddy questioned why the government was reluctant to permit the opposition to make



its presentation on river water issues. 

Let the Congress give its presentation and allow us the same opportunity. Then people will decide who betrayed Telangana, he said, ruling out any disruption of House proceedings. 

He warned that if the BRS was denied an opportunity in this regard, the party would take the issue to the people, and a larger public movement would be inevitable.
