Former Minister and BRS MLA G Jagadish Reddy on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for misleading the public on Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, ration cards and the electoral promises of the Congress.

Reddy said Godavari River was being deliberately dried up, challenging the Chief Minister or his Ministers for an open debate at Kannepalli pump house. He asked the government to hand over the project to the BRS for three days.

“We will operationalise Kannepalli pumphouse, lift water and supply them to water bodies to irrigate ongoing Vaanakalam season. If we or them are proven wrong, let the farmers slap us on our faces,” he dared.
