People from all walks of life have been facing severe hardships under the Congress rule, complained BRS Rajya Sabha member Vaddiraju Ravichandra.
Expressing concern over the difficulties people were enduring, he asserted that whenever elections were held, BRS would register a resounding victory. The party leaders and cadres must work in that direction, he said.
MP Ravichandra along with the party’s Khammam district in-charge MLC Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao and former minister Vanama Venkateswara Rao addressed the party workers here on Thursday regarding special intensive revision (SIR) of the voters’ list and membership enrollment.
The Congress rule has
thrown the State into a trap of debt while the three ministers in the district Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao neglected development and public welfare to focus on their own personal interests, he alleged.
Ravichandra stated that unemployed youth have taken to the streets protesting against the lack of job recruitment notifications from the government, while students were distressed because colleges were withholding certificates due to unpaid fee reimbursement.
The BRS cadres should take the failures of the Congress party into the public and explain how welfare measures were implemented and development works were executed during the BRS rule, he suggested.
