Citing the hardships faced by farmers in obtaining urea, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) continued its protests against the urea app introduced by the Congress government, demanding that the app be scrapped.

Raising slogans against the State government, BRS leaders staged a demonstration at Angadipeta crossroads here on Thursday. Farmers also joined the BRS leaders in the

protest.

Former BRS MLA and party Nalgonda unit president Ravindra Kumar stated that farmers were struggling to obtain urea.

The Congress government claimed to have introduced the app to make things convenient for farmers. Instead, the ryots were facing several hardships due to poor server connectivity, glitches in the app, and the lack of smartphones among many farmers to register on it, he said.
