Launching a Statewide campaign against the Congress government’s failures ahead of the upcoming local body elections, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi on Saturday released the Congress Dues Card, a symbolic card detailing pending welfare dues owed to various sections of the society.
The campaign, launched by BRS working president KT Rama Rao, aims to remind voters of unfulfilled promises made during the 2023 assembly
polls.
The Dues Card campaign lists the Congress government’s lapses across key sectors, backed by figures and timelines. The arrears listed include Rs.2,500 assistance per month promised to women in the State.
The government owed Rs.55,000 (Rs.2,500 × 22 months) to every woman in the State according to the card, which Rama Rao described as a counter to the guarantees of the Congress.
