BRS files complaint with EC against CM Revanth Reddy 'MCC violation'

BRS leaders on Wednesday lodged a formal complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign.

They demanded that the ECI remove Revanth Reddy as a star



campaigner, disqualify Congress candidate Naveen Yadav and deploy central forces instead of the State police to ensure free and fair polling.

“We have no faith in the State police, who are openly working in favour of the Congress government,” said former Minister and senior BRS MLA Gangula Kamalakar.
