The BRS launched a scathing attack on the Congress government after the Telangana High Court delivered a damning verdict against the conduct of the Group-1 Main examination. They demanded immediate cancellation of the exam, withdrawal of GO 29 and also the withdrawal of false cases against job aspirants who staged protests for justice on the issue.
On Wednesday, a BRS delegation led by MLC Dasoju Sravan and party general secretary RS Praveen Kumar submitted a representation to the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, Sravan and Praveen Kumar said the 220-page judgment exposed the fraud of the Revanth Reddy government and the Public Service Commission. Citing the court
orders, they pointed out how the Commission failed to maintain transparency, acted in a biased manner, and neglected its own rules.
“This is not just an exam failure, but a betrayal of an entire generation,” they said.
The BRS leaders slammed GO 29, calling it a black law that discriminates against SCs, STs, BCs, and weaker sections. They condemned that even after its exposure, the government was clinging to it. They criticised the State government’s alleged plans to file writ appeals, and cautioned Revanth Reddy against delaying justice to job aspirants.
BRSV State president Gellu Srinivas Yadav, party leaders A Rakesh Reddy, Y Satish Reddy, Vasudev Reddy, Thunga Balu, and others were also present.
