A delegation of BRS leaders on Saturday lodged a complaint against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at the Banjara Hills Police Station for making what it called “inappropriate and derogatory” remarks against former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao.

The delegation, led by Sumitra Nandan, approached the police to formally register their grievance as the remarks by the Chief Minister were disrespectful and inflammatory. However, they faced

resistance from the station authorities, who reportedly refused to provide an acknowledgment of the complaint, citing server issues.

Unfazed by the refusal, Sumitra Nandan and her team staged a protest at the police station. They refused to leave the police station without an acknowledgment copy of their complaint.

“We will stay here at the Banjara Hills Police Station until we are given the acknowledgment of our complaint,” Sumitra Nandan asserted.
