BRS-Congress Clash Erupts near KCR’s Farmhouse in Siddipet

Mild tension prevailed at Damarakunta in Siddipet district when the BRS activists hurled stones on Congress activists while attempting to gherao the farmhouse of former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) at Erravalli on Tuesday in protest against remarks made against Assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad. This led to a scuffle and a fierce clash between the two groups, hurling stones on each other. 

The police who entered the



scene dispersed both groups. A tense atmosphere prevailed due to the protests by the BRS and Congress ranks. A large number of police personnel were deployed to prevent any untoward incidents. 

It all started after the Congress called for laying siege to KCR's farmhouse. In the wake of the Congress's call, security has been tightened near KCR's farmhouse and all roads leading to the farmhouse have been closed.
