The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has called for called for State-wide protests against the Congress government’s attempt to prevent its MLCs and MLAs from entering the Assembly on the opening day of the session on Monday. The party also condemned the police high-handedness against its legislators and undemocratic arrests.

The party working presidnet K T Rama Rao asked the party



leaders and cadre to hold protests in their respective constituencies opposing the police action against BRS legislators at the Assembly premises.

The call follows a confrontation between BRS legislators and police after the legislators were stopped from entering the Assembly wearing black T-shirts carrying slogans against the Congress government’s 1,000-day rule and its failed promises.
