Expressing concern over the hardships faced by government employees, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has extended support to their protest and pledged to stand with them in their struggle.
The employees have decided to stage protests across the State on August 27. They are also proposing a mahadharna in Hyderabad on September 10 if the government fails to address their
demands.
Former Minister V Srinivas Goud said lakhs of employees had believed the Congress party’s promises and worked hard for its victory. However, the Congress government had betrayed them after coming to power, he alleged.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Goud said, “We will not tolerate any harassment or trouble caused to the employees under any circumstances.”
