Boath MLA Anil distributes cow dung diyas 'Eco-friendly Diwali'

Boath MLA Anil Jadhav called upon people to take collective responsibility for protecting the environment while celebrating festivals.

He was speaking after distributing eco-friendly diyas made of cow dung at Boath mandal centre on Sunday.

The lamps were produced by the Boath Nature Conservation Society in collaboration with the Forest



Department. Jadhav said the lamps were completely eco-friendly and would not harm the environment. 

He appealed to the public to adopt these sustainable lamps for Diwali celebrations.

Appreciating the society and the Forest Department for their initiative, the MLA assured full support for their future activities aimed at environmental protection.
