BJP State president N Ramchander Rao on Wednesday said ruling Congress leaders were unable to move freely in public as the government had failed to implement the promises made before the elections.
He said instead of the State leaders taking responsibility, they were seen walking in padayatras with Congress State affairs in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan.
“Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has gone to Delhi [more than] 50 times, abandoning governance,” he remarked while
addressing the Karimnagar Parliament constituency party leaders’ meeting in Karimnagar.
Rao said all sections of people were discontented under the Congress regime. Students were facing severe hardships due to the delay in fee reimbursement, and the government was struggling even to pay salaries to its employees.
Rao further alleged that out of fear of defeat in local body elections, the Congress had filed a petition in the High Court seeking postponement of the polls.
