Birla Mandir marble cleaning works near completion 'golden jubilee'

With one month remaining for its golden jubilee celebrations, the marble cleaning works at the Birla Mandir are fast progressing towards completion.

In the month of September, the Birla Mandir management commenced chemical treatment and polishing works on all major gopurams of the temple,



and other small temples located in the temple complex. Most of these works have been completed.

The works related to polishing on the marble steps leading to the hilltop of the Birla Mandir are continuing at a brisk pace, Shankerlal Sharma, in-charge of the temple administration, told media
