A bike delivery executive allegedly fled with gold jewellery worth Rs.62,383 after collecting a parcel from a security guard in Jubilee Hills.

According to the complaint, an administrative manager working with Vivo had booked a bike parcel service to send gold jewellery from Banjara Hills to a relative’s house in Nagole. The manager handed over the parcel to a security guard, who in turn gave it to the rider.

The delivery

executive allegedly demanded an additional Rs.100 towards fuel expenses and got the amount transferred through PhonePe and left. However, the parcel never reached its destination.

When the manager tried to contact the rider over the phone, he found that his number had been blocked.

After failing to get a response from customer care, the manager approached the police and made a complaint. The police are looking into the incident.
