Banks asks clients to replace debit cards

The banks from the State are asking their customers to replace their existing debit cards with a chip based debit cards before December 31,2018. However, several customers of these banks are taking it lightly. The banks are now saying that it is a must for all the customers to replace their existing debit cards



with the chip based ones.

The managements of the banks are warning that their debits cards would be blocked and become useless if they did not replace them before the deadline. Messages are being sent by the banks to their customers on regular basis.
