BJP State president Bandi Sanjay on Monday demanded that the State government issue job notification in January, warning that BJP MLAs and activists would stall the next Assembly session if the government failed to do so.

The BJP State president held ‘Deeksha’ over the unemployment issue at the party office here. For the past seven years, Group I job notification have not been issued, he alleged. “On the contrary, 12,000 vidya volunteers, 7000 Field Assistants and 600 Mission Bhagiratha workers were sacked from their jobs,” he said.

“If the government fails to issue the notifications by January, BJP MLAs will stall the Assembly proceedings inside the House, while scores of party activists will stage protests outside the premises,” said

Sanjay.

Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had been deceiving the unemployed youth in the State by assuring to issue notifications for 50,000 jobs, the BJP leader said he had made these ‘false promises’ during 2014 and 2018 election campaign but had failed to fulfill the promises.

“The State government is worried about BJP creating awareness among the people in the State through protests. Hence, orders were issued overnight banning rallies, gathering of people and public meetings, citing Covid pandemic,” he said, adding that the BJP would continue to stage protests till the job notifications are issued. “BJP will come to power in the State and will address all these issues,” Sanjay added.
