Balapur Ganesh Shobha Yatra Begins After Special Puja

The Balapur Ganesh Shobha Yatra began on Friday morning. As part of the celebrations, the Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samithi performed special puja at 5 am before the commencement of the procession.

The 16-km-long procession will pass through several parts of the city, including Balapur, Chandrayangutta, Falaknuma, Charminar, Afzalgunj, MJ Market and Abids, before reaching Tank Bund, where the idol will be immersed.

Meanwhile, the much-awaited Balapur Ganesh laddu auction is



scheduled to begin at 9.30 am. The auction attracts large crowds every year, with devotees and bidders participating in the event. In view of the procession and the expected movement of a large number of devotees, traffic police have made arrangements along the route. 

The police have urged commuters and devotees to follow traffic regulations and instructions issued by the authorities, cooperate with the personnel deployed on the roads and avoid taking unnecessary diversions along the procession route.
