The long-delayed Bachupally six-lane bi-directional flyover in Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) limits is likely to be thrown open to commuters in the second week of June. It will become the first flyover to come into operation after CMC was formed as a new civic body.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer, B Ravinder, told ?Telangana Today? that the
flyover will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, tentatively on June 8. Arrangements accordingly were being made.
In the year 2022, during the BRS rule, the then MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao had laid the foundation stone for the six-lane flyover near Bachupally X roads. The flyover was supposed to be completed by 2024, but it faced inordinate delays due to various reasons.
