Fri 21 Jul 2023, 10:46:26
Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited's chairman and managing director G. Raghuma Reddy emphasised the importance of using power carefully during the monsoon season. In a video conference with the chief general manager and superintending engineers of circles, he discussed measures to ensure a smooth power supply during this time.

To monitor power distribution effectively, control rooms have been set up in every district and circle office. The CMD directed superintending engineers to closely monitor the power supply based on weather conditions and provide quick services through field staff. He stressed the need for all staff to be available during the rainy season to address any power-related issues promptly.

For public safety, Raghuma Reddy advised people to avoid standing near power lines, transformers, and other electrical

equipment. He also cautioned against letting domestic animals come close to such equipment.

In case of any issues with power supply, people have been urged to promptly inform the electricity officials about cut-off wires in their localities. Consumers should turn off electrical appliances if they notice fluctuations in power supply and inform the control rooms accordingly. When registering complaints, consumers should remember their USC number while communicating with the authorities.

To address grievances, people can contact TSSPDCL through various channels, including phone numbers: 1912/100 (Local Fuse of call office) and special control room numbers: 7382071574, 7382072106, 7382072104. Additionally, complaints can be lodged through the TSSPDCL App, website, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.
