Auto-Rickshaw Overturns in Mancherial, Six Students Injured

Six students of a private school sustained injuries when an auto-rickshaw overturned at Subbaraopalli village in Chennur mandal.

Sources said the students, who belonged to a school in Chennur town, received minor injuries after the auto turned turtle at a curve near the village. They were on their way to school from Narayanpur at the time of the



mishap.

The auto was allegedly being driven by a minor. Rash and negligent driving led to the accident.

Angry parents demanded action against the school authorities for deploying a minor driver and endangering the students’ safety.

Police said no complaint had been lodged in connection with the incident until Tuesday afternoon.
