Attapur police arrest auto driver for ganja peddling

The Attapur police arrested an auto rickshaw driver for ganja peddling and seized one kilogram of the weed from him on Wednesday night.

Acting on a tip off, a police team raided a graveyard at Hassannagar near Zoo Park and caught Shaik Zakeer, a resident of



Shaheennagar.

“Zakeer had gone to Amravathi in Maharashtra and purchased one kilogram of weed from a person for Rs. 20,000. He returned to the city and packed the ganja in small sachets weighing 10 grams each and was waiting for customers at Hassannagar when he was caught,” said the Attapur police.
