AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has warned Muslim youth particularly boys and young men, that disaster will befall them if they insult, disrespect, dishonour or rape women or girls. Owaisi's warning at a meeting at Darussalam, the party headquarters in the city came in the wake of the arrest of youths in the gangrape case of a minor girl in Jubilee Hills last month.

Owaisi addressing the 'Jalsa Azmat-e-Mustafa' late in the evening on Saturday, said it was time for parents and youth in the Muslim community for serious introspection of the consequences of their actions, and how they could get into trouble for reckless behaviour.
If the youth sit pubs, consume liquor, eye even a single woman or a girl, not respect them or indulge in rape,

trouble will follow, Owaisi said.

He urged parents to keep an eye on their children and change their behaviour.  He said the way to avoid getting into trouble was to follow the word of God by following the teachings of the Quran. Fathers too must mend their ways to set a good example to their children. A revolution for the good will come when a father does not use abuse before a son, slap his wife, he said.

The more the youth get attached to their mobile phones and video games, the further away they get from the Quran, he said. You cannot play with the devil and consort with God. Dedicate yourselves to God and success will follow, Owaisi told the large gatherings.
