Arrangements for Jubilee Hills by-poll is underway

Arrangements, including polling personnel deployment and shifting of EVMs and VVPAT machines from strong rooms set up in Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, are in full swing on Monday.

A total of 2,060 polling personnel, including Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), and



other Polling Officers (OPOs), were deputed for the Jubilee Hills by-poll.

The district election officer, R V Karnan, made elaborate arrangements regarding EVMs. A total of 2,394 ballot units, 561 controlling units, and 595 VVPATs were kept ready, keeping in view that 58 candidates are in the fray.
