Applications for single women pension invited

Telangana chief secretary SP Singh on Friday directed officials to invite applications from eligible single women living in Greater Hyderabad to be covered as beneficiary under the `1,000 monthly pension scheme announced by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Applications will be accepted between May 8 and May 29.

Stating that



the guidelines and eligibility criteria for identification of single women have already been issued by the government, he told the officials concerned to make arrangements for the applications to be accepted at any of the 1,000 Mee Seva centres as well as offices of 30 municipal commissioners and 31 tehsildars located in Greater Hyderabad.
