Annapurna canteen to continue its functions during lockdown

All Annapurna canteens offering hot and hygienic meals for Rs 5 will continue to function as it is, according to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

According to the civic body, 150 Annapurna centres on an



average serve food to 35,000 to 40,000 beneficiaries. The GHMC in association with Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Trust operates these canteens and the meals are a boon for daily wage earners and others.
