Ameenpur police book suspended Jubilee Hills CI for Rape

Ameenpur police registered rape, culpable homicide, IT Act and cases under several other sections against Inspector U Sreenivasulu Reddy following a complaint filed by a woman living in Jayalakshmi Nagar under the police station limits.

Following her complaint, Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar suspended Sriniuvasulu Reddy, who was working as SHO of



Jubilee Hills police station, from duties on July 28.

Srinivasulu Reddy, who worked as CI Ameenpur in the past, befriended the victim when she approached him in a case. In her complaint, the woman said that the CI sexually exploited her. She said that he recorded her videos and threatened her with serious consequences if she revealed the relationship to anyone.
