Panic gripped Golconda and surrounding areas after multiple sightings of a leopard were reported over the past two days.

According to eyewitnesses, several individuals travelling on the Taramati Baradari main road saw the leopard cross the road and head towards the Musi river.

Separately, other

residents in the vicinity claimed to have seen the big cat in the Ibrahimbagh area of Golconda.

However, forest officials and police have so far not obtained any CCTV footage or videos from the public confirming the sighting.

Police and forest officials have urged people to remain alert and vigilant.
