AI Express Returns to Hyderabad Minutes After Takeoff Due to Technical Issue

An Air India Express Boeing 737 MAX 8 operating flight IX 110 from Hyderabad to Phuket experienced a technical issue shortly after takeoff at 6:49 AM on Friday.

As a precaution, the aircraft returned and

landed safely at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport by 6:57 AM. All passengers and crew are safe. The airline is investigating the issue and has arranged alternate travel plans for the affected passengers.
