Adilabad crosses 45 degree Celsius again

The severe heatwave conditions have continued to push the mercury to critical levels, with Adilabad district again recording a high of 45.3 degree Celsius in the last 24-hours.  

Multiple locations even in Hyderabad recorded maximum temperatures ranging from 41.4 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius between Monday and Tuesday morning.

Adilabad has emerged as the hottest spot in Telangana, recording a blistering maximum temperature of 45.3 degree celsius, which is 3.5 degree Celsius higher than usual for this time of year. Nearby Nizamabad followed closely behind, recording 44.7 degree Celsius, prompting the weather authorities to issue a red alert for these regions.
