Adilabad has emerged as the hottest spot in Telangana, recording a blistering maximum temperature of 45.3 degree celsius, which is 3.5 degree Celsius higher than usual for this time of year. Nearby Nizamabad followed closely behind, recording 44.7 degree Celsius, prompting the weather authorities to issue a red alert for these regions.
