ACB Nabs 2 Nizamabad Municipal Employees in Rs 15K Bribe Case

The sleuths of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Palda Ashok, Junior Assistant working in Nizamabad Municipal Corporation and K Kiran Kumar, an outsourcing employee in connection with a bribe case. 

The ACB caught them red handed at Padmashali Sangam in Seetharamnagar Colony in Nizamabad Town when they demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.15,000 from the complainant for doing an official



favour.

The bribe was demanded to prepare the increment proceedings and to make necessary entries and other details in the complainant mother's service book for sanctioning monthly pension. 

The ACB officials said the arrested persons accepted the undue advantage of Rs.15,000 and performed their public duties dishonestly and improperly. The identity of the complainant has been withheld for security reasons.
