ACB court allows CM Revanth to travel abroad in cash-for-vote case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court has permitted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the prime accused in the controversial 2015 cash-for-vote case, to travel abroad from August 17 to September 10 with a few conditions.

This was after a petition was filed before the court seeking interim custody of the Chief Minister’s passports from July 23 to



October 23 and also sought relaxation of the bail conditions.

The ACB court reportedly granted permission subject to conditions, including execution of a personal bond of Rs.1 lakh with one surety, submission of his overseas addresses and contact details. It also directed him to file an affidavit undertaking to return the passports by September 18.
